What is a Daily Living and Social Skills Program?
It is everything from teaching budgeting to preparing and cooking a simple meal, to banking, to doing laundry and other basic household chores, to traveling within the community. It is knowing how to buy a newspaper at the store or how to get on and off a bus. It also can be as simple as teaching who not to speak to or who to walk away from if a stranger approaches.
