In these challenging economic times, spurwink|ri is consistently striving to rethink, reinvent, and re-implement all that we do, to ensure that our processes and procedures are completely efficient and effective. At spurwink|ri 87 cents of every dollar you donate goes directly to programs and services for our participants. However, we do so without sacrificing the quality of care we provide for our participants. At spurwink|ri we have a 99% participant satisfaction rate.

A cash donation is a wonderful way to support and further the mission of spurwink|ri.  You can make a one time donation, spread your donation out over a period of months, or pledge your annual support over a number of years.  Please click on the Donation Form attached at the bottom of the page, or use the Donate Now button to make a secure online donation.

Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers to fill our event committees, staff our CVS Caremark Charity Classic team, assist in our administrative office, and recruit new donors and volunteers. Any time that you can lend is deeply appreciated.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

• CVS Caremark Golf Classic Carts Team
• CVS Caremark Golf Classic Marshals Team
• Have a Heart Dinner Planning Committee
• Gail Badessa Memorial Fund for Cultural Experiences Planning Committee
• Development Intern, Annual Appeal Staff
• On-Line Auction Staff, and Office Staff.

Workplace Donations

Please consider spurwink|ri as you plan your payroll deduction donations.  The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is for all Federal Employees, the State Employees Charitable Appeal (SECA) is available to all state employees, and The United Way Campaign is open to any employee whose company participates in the program.  Check with your designated campaign chairperson at your place of employment about enrolling in each of these programs.

Service or In-Kind Contribution

spurwink|ri often needs support in the form of services or products for events, general fundraising, and/or auctions. A gift of your personal or business’s service and/or product assists us in executing successful events, reduces marketing costs, and enables us to hold profitable auctions. Typesetting and printing services, flowers, tables and chairs, paintings, and even a week at a donor’s condominium are just a sampling of the many types of contributions we have received. Honor or Memorial Donations

There are many times in our lives when we either cannot think of how to honor that special someone or just cannot find the gift for the person that seems to have everything. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to help a developmentally disabled child, adult, or even a family with a donation to spurwink|ri in your loved one’s name, or in his or her memory?  Upon receipt of your donation, a certificate will be mailed to the family about your very special gift.
